How to Beat Giovanni In Pokemon GO

Pokemon Go will mark its sixth birthday in 2022, and Niantic’s groundbreaking ARPG has no sign of slowing.

The game’s freshness is maintained with a constant series of updates and events and new features added every month.

A single of the more prominent features of Pokemon Go is The Team GO Rocket bosses, which let players take on the most potent NPC trainers to earn unique rewards.

Team GO Rocket is as sinister as the other variants that comprise Team Rocket in the vast Pokemon franchise.

At the top of the enormous crime syndicate is Giovanni, the boss in Team GO Rocket.

In line with his title, Giovanni is one of the most formidable Team GO Rocket trainers for players to take on in Pokemon Go

It’s crucial to select the best team.

Giovanni’s First Pokemon

Like the other Team GO Rocket bosses, Giovanni always has his signature Pokemon, which is with him throughout the films, games, and television series.

Persian is an ordinary-type Pokemon that is not a good fighter.

And also employs an array that combines Normal, Dark, Rock, and Fairy moves, making it difficult to fight.

It is essential to take advantage of Persian’s weaknesses by using a powerful Fighting Pokemon, though rock-type Pokemon are also efficient in the event of a need.

Machamp, Lucario, or Hariyama using the Counter move can all handle Persian effortlessly, as will Tyranitar or Terrakion with SmackDown.

Giovanni’s Second Pokemon

Giovanni’s second Pokemon for February 2022 could be Water-type Kingler Nidoking of the Poison/Ground type or Rhyperior of the type Ground or Rock.

This makes making the proper counter selection difficult, and there are crossovers that players can exploit.

Kingler is vulnerable against Electric and Grass, Nidoking is weak to Ground the psychic, ice, and Water, while Rhyperior is powerless against Water and Grass.

There are two areas of crossover between the two weaknesses, with Kingler and Rhyperior being ineffective to Grass and Nidoking being weak to Grass.

Rhyperior, as well as Nidoking, are both vulnerable to Water.

A sturdy Water-type weapon such as Empoleon equipped with Waterfall and Hydro Cannon is likely to tackle the other two, whereas the Grass-type, such as Zarude using Vine Whip and Torterra equipped with Razor Leaf, could be able to cover the second weakness.

The grass is the better option, considering that Kingler is invulnerable to Water as is Nidoking isn’t resistant to Grass.

Giovanni’s Final Pokemon

Giovanni’s third and last Pokemon will be introduced in 2022 February Shadow Lugia, an altered variation from that Legendary Psychic/Flying Pokemon.

Shadow Lugia’s unique combination of type and Shadow nature makes it a challenging Pokemon to defeat and comes with various weaknesses.

Shadow Lugia is a Diving Pokemon that can be vulnerable in the face of Rock, Ghost, Electric, Ice, and Dark and is and is invulnerable to Fighting, Grass, and Psychic.

It is also entirely ineffective for Ground.

Players must bring a great Pokemon to beat Shadow Lugia easily, and the most effective choices are Zacian, Yveltal, and Melmetal, and all three are Mythical or Legendary.

Zacian and Yveltal will take on Shadow Lugia quickly using their Electric and Dark attacks and standouts as Wild Charge, Snarl, and Dark Pulse.

Melmetal will not take down Lugia at the same speed; however, it has a higher chance of surviving due to its strong resistance.
