When unveiling new Xbox Game Pass titles, Microsoft has established specific apparent trends, but it defied them with the June 2022 list.
Around the start of the month, Microsoft usually reveals the new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, and around the 15th, it verifies what’s coming in the second half.
However, as of this writing (June 17), Microsoft has yet to officially reveal the new titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of June.
Even while Microsoft hasn’t listed all of the new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of June 2022, that doesn’t imply the service hasn’t been updated.
On the other hand, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was added to Game Pass as a day one release on June 16. TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is a new beat-them-up that has received positive reviews and is a tribute to old TMNT arcade games and the 1987 animated series.
And now, Microsoft has quietly introduced yet another new game to Xbox Game Pass without any previous notice. Xbox Game Pass customers will be pleased to learn that the critically acclaimed horror RPG Omori is now available on consoles, PC, and the cloud.
Omori is potentially an Xbox Game Pass day one title, given it was initially launched for PC in 2020 and is now finding its way to consoles. Omori is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One as of June 17th. And, since the game was previously released on PC, there is already a slew of expert and user evaluations to convince gamers that it’s a game not to be missed.
On OpenCritic, Omori has an overall rating of 85, with reviewers complimenting the film’s plot and good use of terror. The game has numerous endings, classic JRPG gameplay, side quests, puzzles, and more, making it a long journey for anybody who wants to experience all it has to offer.
While Microsoft has yet to offer a complete list of all new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of June 2022, we know about a few more that will be added to the program in the following days due to previous announcements. Total War:
- Three Kingdoms will be released on PC Game Pass on June 21.
- Shadowrun Trilogy will be available on June 21.
- Escape Academy will be accessible to Xbox Game Pass users on June 28.
