Xiaomi has today introduced the 2022 edition of the Xiaomi Book Pro series in China after the release of its first-ever 2-in-1 gadget, the Xiaomi Book S, earlier this year.

Launch of the Xiaomi Book Pro 14 and Book Pro 16 OLED
Two new Xiaomi Book Pro models are available: the Xiaomi Book Pro 14 and the Xiaomi Book Pro 16 OLED. Starting with the appearance, it has a similar style to Apple’s MacBook, with thin, unibody construction and light (14.9mm).
The device’s main selling point is the 16-inch 4K OLED display with skinny bezels on the Xiaomi Book Pro 16 OLED.
Like Xiaomi’s high-end TVs, the touch-enabled screen uses Dolby Vision technology to provide realistic colors and an immersive watching experience.
On the other hand, the Book Pro 14 has a 2.8K OLED screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, the panel supports Dolby Vision, the whole DCI-P3 color gamut, and a peak brightness of 600 nits.
The 12th-Gen Intel Core i7-1260P CPU based on the Intel Evo platform may be found within the Xiaomi Book Pro 16 OLED. The Core-i7 variant has an Nvidia RTX 2050 GPU for graphics.
Xiaomi claims that the performance of its new laptop will be 76 percent better than its predecessor’s.
The gadget also has a 70Whr battery that is charged by a 100W charger. The Xiaomi Book Pro 16 OLED has 512GB of SSD storage and 16GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is available in three different configurations and can accommodate up to an Intel Core i7-1260P processor and an Nvidia RTX 2050 GPU.
In terms of memory, the Book Pro 14 has a comparable 16GB + 512GB setup. A 100W power adaptor is used to charge the 56Wh battery within.
Apart from these, the Book Pro 16 OLED and Book Pro 14 include every connector you need, including USB-C, USB-A, and a 3.5mm audio combo connection.
For multi-screen cooperation with Xiaomi smartphones and tablets, the devices will also have MIUI+.

Regarding availability, China will have access to the Xiaomi Book Pro series. Despite the company’s lack of confirmation, we anticipate Xiaomi will release the smartphones in India and other countries in the following months.
