Oppo is Reportedly Developing a New X5 Series Model

The Oppo Find X5 series, including the Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro and Find X5 Lite, was launched in February of this year. According to a recent leak, the business plans to release a new Find X5 model in the second half of 2022.

In September of last year, Oppo announced the Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition in China as a new model of the Oppo Find X3 Pro. If previous releases are any indicator, a new Oppo Find X5 model will be released shortly.

A new variation of the Oppo Find X5 series will be introduced in the second half of this year, according to known tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

However, no details on the future Find X5 series gadget are available now. It’s said to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The forthcoming phone is believed to have a particular Oppo MariSilicon X processor to improve image processing, similar to the existing variants in the Oppo Find X5 series. According to the source, Oppo might introduce a sequel to the Oppo Find N foldable phone this year.

In September of last year, Oppo announced the Oppo Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition as a new edition of the Oppo Find X3 Pro in China. It was presented in collaboration with Kodak, a camera manufacturer.

In February this year, Oppo released the Find X5, Find X5 Pro, and Find X5 Lite smartphones. The Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro include a Hasselblad camera and a proprietary Oppo MariSilicon X processor.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the vanilla variant is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Oppo Find X5 Lite 5G, launched as the series’ economy model, is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC.
