Nintendo Switch Online Gets Four New Games

Nintendo Switch Online Gets Four New Games: When Nintendo Switch Online initially launched, many users questioned if the monthly fee was worthwhile. Nintendo Switch Online initially lacked certain essential features while being far less expensive than Xbox and PlayStation memberships.

Here comes the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, which gave gamers access to vintage N64 and Sega Genesis games. However, with new titles like Pokemon Snap and Kirby 64 being introduced to the service, it appears Nintendo is providing more value to the product with each addition to its catalog of titles. Some people still question if Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack is worth the entrance price.

Currently, Nintendo is adding four additional games to the Expansion Pack for Nintendo Switch Online. In a new clip uploaded to Nintendo’s YouTube page, all the games shown are from Sega’s Genesis/Mega Drive platform. Anyone acquainted with the first wave of internet memes will be aware of the first game depicted in the teaser. In the side-scrolling space adventure Zero Wing, Cats, the captain of a roving gang of space pirates, must be stopped.

The second game in the new batch of titles coming to Switch Online is the action superhero side scroller, Comix Zone. The tale of Comix Zone even has players assuming the character of Sketch Turner, a comic creator. Comix Zone is renowned for having a distinctive aesthetic that draws mainly on the works of Western comic book artists. Sketch finds himself in a comic of his creation and must fight mutant foes to get out.

Mega Man: The Wily Wars, a compilation of the first three Mega Man games that had noticeably been absent from the Nintendo Switch Online service until now, is the third iconic Sega Genesis game.

The collection of games takes players through the first Mega Man adventures, allowing them to see the well-known robot engage in combat with Dr. Wily’s most sinister inventions. The Wily Wars also contains Wily Tower, which has a new boss to face, along with the previous three Mega Man titles.

Target Earth is the last game in the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. Target Earth, which shares a sci-fi motif with Zero Wing, pits the player against Chron cyborgs who are assaulting the Earth and its space outposts rather than a crew of pirates.

An intriguing tale about the Chron’s past is provided to players in the action platformer Target Earth. The Switch Online Expansion Pack Sega Genesis app now offers Target Earth, Mega Man: The Wily Wars, Comix Zone, and Zero Wing.
