The original Pokemon Snap was a strangely engaging game for many fans of the classic series. Instead of catching Pokemon via Pokeballs, the player was charged with photographing them.
While the user may use bait to attract Pokemon and play music to influence their behavior, similar to the mechanisms seen in the mainstream Pokemon games’ safaris, Pokemon Snap eschews many of the franchise’s other traditions, such as fighting and training.
