Mordhau is coming to consoles this year with crossplay

Mordhau, like Splitgate and MultiVersus, gained popularity as the hottest and trendiest new multiplayer game in late 2019. Significant 64-player conflicts with combat that isn’t afraid to be detailed, systematic, and somewhat cruel made it stand out.

Although Mordhau’s player base declined after its brief day in the limelight and the introduction of Chivalry II, it still maintains a devoted following that appreciates its challenging but enjoyable combat and mediaeval atmosphere.

It is now possible for console gamers to play the game, which could rekindle interest in Mordhau.

The Slovenian developer Triterinon, who created Mordhau, will continue to serve as both publisher and developer for the console adaptations.

The same combat and game modes on PC will be available, such as the cooperative Horde mode, the attack-and-defend Invasion mode, and the territory-based Frontline mode.

The creator also stated that crossplay would be included in these new iterations of Mordhau. To prevent novice players from being matched against PC players who have mastered the game over the last several years, it currently only works across console platforms.

Players may anticipate a later this year release of Mordhau on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S; however, Triterinon has not yet provided a particular date. If you want to play it right now, Mordhau is currently $30 on PC.
