How to download the Minecraft Experimental Snapshot 3

Mojang won’t let gamers download experimental snapshots directly through the Minecraft launcher because they aren’t available for public use. Hence, the players need to download the installer from this link manually will download a ZIP file.

  1. To open your hidden AppData folder, press the Start button.
  2. There will be a new folder within — create a folder and then extract the ZIP file to that folder.
  3. Go to the Minecraft Launcher and choose Installations. Next, make sure that the modded option has been selected and then create a new install.
  4. Select the AppData Minecraft version that you have just created and give it a name. 
  5. Finally, click on Create to create the Minecraft Experimental Snapshot.
