How to Update Assassin’s Creed Origins to 60 FPS

Update Assassin’s Creed Origins to 60 FPS: Updating the visuals and performance of previous games is a prevalent trend among this generation’s consoles. Paired with the PS5’s and Xbox Series X|S’s backward compatibility, this feature makes certain titles seem brand new.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins is the most recent title to undergo this makeover. According to the announcement, the game’s long-awaited FPS update will be released later this week.

We’ve got you covered if you’re wondering how to install this update once it’s available.

How to Get the 60 FPS Update for Assassin’s Creed Origins

Like with most console updates, all you have to do now is wait for it to download and install. To manually install the update, go to your console’s menu, choose the game, and select the check for update option.

If the Assassin’s Creed Origins update is available, it will begin to download. Both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S enable you to automatically keep your games up to date.

On the PS5, go to settings, then save date and game/app settings to do this. Then, under automatic updates, enable auto-download. Select auto-install in rest mode if you want updates to install when the console is in rest mode.

To open the Xbox Series X|S guide:

  1. Press the Xbox button on the controller.
  2. Choose profile & system.
  3. Go to settings, then design, and finally updates.

If you select the “Keep my console up to date” option, any game updates will be downloaded automatically to your console.

Ubisoft hasn’t said how 60 frames per second would be implemented in Assassin’s Creed Origins.

In certain circumstances, a game update like this may offer the game a 60 FPS frame rate or allow players to select between frame rates.

The majority of fans will be pleased to be able to play the game at a faster frame rate on newer systems.
