Phase 1 Fight

How to beat the final boss in Kena

When you first enter the battle against Kena’s final boss: Bridge of Spirits, you will find yourself without the rot to back you up. It means that you will lose several of your abilities, including the ability to heal yourself in the fight.

Your main goal, then, should be to avoid damage from the boss’s big attacks, which can be tough with blows that can cut through the entire battlefield.

Mainly, you need to stay quite close to the boss, as you can slide under him to avoid some of his attacks. First, use Focus to shoot arrows at the bubbling growth on its head.

If you look at the creature around you, you will see that there are similar weak spots on its legs, legs, and sides, and you should try to eliminate all of them. The one on her head is the easiest, and you can slide between her legs to move to the sides and hit the growths there.

In the first part of the fight, the boss will hit you with melee attacks and has a long-range. An attack causes him to slide horizontally across the battlefield, which you can dodge by quickly running to the side.

Potentially jumping or avoiding by getting close and getting under him. There is also a vertical slide that will cause the ice to break through the ground towards you, requiring you to dodge it sideways.

In both cases, Spirit Dash is a great move to quickly get you out of harm’s way. If you see the boss get up on his hind legs, get ready to jump; When it lands, it will send a wave of energy across the ground in all directions that will damage you.

Keep moving, dodging, jumping, and shooting your spirit arrows using focus. You will need to hit each corruption point on the boss’s body two or three times to destroy them.

The two in front, on the head and the left (right) paw are the easiest, so get them quickly. Then he runs to the side and tries to hit one more of the pustules.

That will make the boss roar and suck you into the Spirit Realm, where you will have to fight smaller enemies in a tighter arena.

You’ve seen these little enemies before, so hit them the best you can. But try to do it quickly and without getting overwhelmed.

The first wave will include some of the flying moth enemies that shoot energy at you, as well as the melee fighters on the ground. In the second wave, those lizard-like creatures that spit energy balls will join the fray.

Freely use your spirit bombs and arrows to take out enemies from a distance and try to hold your ground and move to avoid getting hit as you will have no chance of healing here.

Once you win this fight, a Spirit Gate will appear. Run and you will face a tougher fight on the other side, which includes several small enemies and a Wood Knight.

Again, this is a battle you’ve seen before, so keep your distance and knock out smaller enemies quickly while avoiding the Wood Knight’s attacks, particularly when he throws his club at you.

You can jump on that, but hit hard if you’re not ready. Aim for the Wood Knight’s weak points to unbalance him and try to clear as many enemies as you can, as fast as you can.

Don’t forget that your Spirit Dash is great for situations like this – it can throw the Wood Knight off balance and damage him and anything else in your way.

Spirit bombs are also good for briefly scaring off the big enemy and preventing him from attacking you.

Eliminate these creatures and a bubble will appear with some rot inside. Destroy it with melee attacks and you will recover some of the creatures, allowing you to destroy the Corruption at the Spirit Gate in front of you.

Phase 2 Fight

You are now back in the boss arena, but now you will have some new moves in your repertoire, and the edges of the arena will become much more dangerous.

If the boss pounces on you and raises his arm, he wants to grab you. He will then throw you against the adult, which will make you bounce to the edge of the sand.

This whole area is corrupted and will kill you if you stay in it too long, so quickly Spirit Dash or roll so you don’t die without realizing that you are being killed.

When the boss is done grabbing it, you can jump up and use Focus to avoid the attack if you can’t get out of the way.

The other new boss move is to back up to the edge of the arena and draw in some pink energy, releasing it like a pink laser beam that will sweep across the battlefield.

You can jump directly on this attack or Spirit Dash or block it, just like other attacks of a similar color. In any case, try to avoid being cooked for you.

However, with the rot in tow, note that it can now be cured with a couple of blue flowers at the edges of the sand.

Other than avoiding the new attacks, there is not much you need to worry about here. Keep using Focus to put arrows on the corruption on the boss’s body.

Destroy the rest of the pustules and you will be sucked back into the Spirit Realm.

Instead of a fight, you will find yourself in a light platforming area. Cross the rocks in front of you and use the blue flower to climb to the next platform.

Then observing that the rocks below you will fall after you touch them in a few seconds. Keep moving up with the blue flowers until you can’t anymore.

Then look through the space behind you. You will see a blinking blue rock that you will recognize as one that you can hit with your spirit bomb, but it is out of reach. To the right is a closed blue flower.

To open it, you will have to jump from the platform you are standing on and shoot the flower in the air.

Once you’ve crossed the gap, use a bomb on the blue rock to create a path ahead. You’ll have to quickly shoot three more flowers while airborne to cross the gap further.

But that will get you to a stable platform and reward you with more Rot to add to your arsenal. That will bring you back to full strength with your skills for the final phase of the fight.

Phase 3 fight with final boss in Kena

Everything you’ve seen the boss do before is still on the table, but now smaller enemies will be closing in from the edges of the battlefield to distract you.

At this point, you can’t damage the boss directly either; You need Rot’s help, so fight smaller enemies while avoiding taking damage to charge up your Courage as fast as you can.

The boss will add a couple of new moves to his repertoire. Sometimes it will roar when you are too close, creating a sonic boom around it that will take your breath away.

He will also leap towards the Mountain Shrine in the distance, leaving you to fight his minions. Finally, it will rise and charge full of purple energy, before releasing it like a series of lightning bolts around the battlefield.

After that, a series of smaller bombs will drop onto the field and explode, creating ripples that radiate outward, so you’ll need to stay in the air as long as possible to avoid them.

However, that last move, in which the boss draws purple electricity towards himself while backing away, is what you want to see. When that happens, you will notice that several spears stuck into the boss’s back will glow yellow as he charges the attack.

With a full charge of Rot, you can send Rot to pull one of those spears from the boss; This is how you damage the creature, and doing so will cancel the attack.

Similarly, you need to repeat the process four times to get all the spears out. So don’t bother using rot charges for anything other than pulling out spears or healing if necessary.

In general, this last part is not too difficult, because the boss will mainly rely on the large energy blast attack that leaves him vulnerable.

It is giving you ample opportunity to damage the final boss in Kena Bridge Of Spirits. Just keep clearing the little enemies quickly to keep them out of your face and increase your Courage charges.

When the last spear falls, use Rot to remove corruption from the boss’s chest, allowing you to finally free him. I hope in this way, you can beat the final boss in Kena Bridge Of Spirits.
