GTA V and GTA Online are coming to PS5 and Xbox: In 2020, Rockstar Games surprised fans when they said that Grand Theft Auto V was getting a new console port. It would be on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game Grand Theft Auto Online was also going to be made for both consoles at the same time, too.
They will be released on March 15, after being put back last year because of bad weather.
Rockstar has given more information about what to expect from the game’s ports to get people ready for them.
Several visual upgrades will be available for both games.
New versions of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online will have a lot of new looks.
Rockstar made this announcement in a post on their Newswire site.
People who play Grand Theft Auto V will have three different ways to make the game look.
Fidelity Mode will make the game run at 30 frames per second while shown in 4K quality.
When you play Performance Mode, the framerate goes up to 60, and the game has a quality that looks like it was upscaled to 4K.
The last mode is Performance RT, which combines the other modes with ray tracing.
You can play both games with the Dualsense controller. Among them are Haptic Feedback and resistance from the Adaptive Triggers.
The PS5 version of the game will also have 3D Audio, while the Xbox Series X|S version will have Spatial Sound, which is different.
If you already own GTA V, you don’t need to buy GTA Online to play.
People who play Grand Theft Auto Online will get new cars and do time trials at a new location called Hao’s Special Works.
They can also get vehicle upgrades and take free test drives at the site.
Players who already own the PS4 and Xbox One versions of both games will be able to transfer both their storey mode progress and their GTA Online progress to the new game when it comes out later this month. This means that they can do this once.
People who have PlayStation Plus will get GTA Online at no charge for three months after it comes out.
New versions of GTA V and GTA Online will be available online starting March 15 and in stores in April.
