Google Hangouts app deleted from Play Store.

For people who use Workspace, Google Chats is replacing the old Hangouts. As part of the transition, Google has said that the old Hangouts mobile apps will be turned off, and the app doesn’t seem to be available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for new users. Because the app is no longer shown in search results, it is still available to people who have it on their phones.

According to a report from 9to5Google, the direct link to the Hangouts app in the App Store no longer works.

This comes after Google said that Chat would be the default app on their phones and tablets for Workspace customers who haven’t yet moved.

Even if someone doesn’t have the Hangouts App, they can still talk with people on it. A “Move to Google Chat in Gmail” message pops up every time you open the app.

Recently, the iPhone and iPad apps were removed. Users who already have the Android app can still get it from the Google Play Store, but new users can’t get it.

This is a big step toward Google shutting down Hangouts for good.

In the last few days, Google has been moving people who used Workspace to Chats and Spaces instead.

Google says that Hangouts for personal or free accounts will no longer be available at some point in the future.

Last year, Google removed over a million fake Google Maps profiles thanks to its machine learning ability. This has helped the company recognise scammers and fraud profiles on the site.
