For a long time, people have said that Google will show off the Pixel 6a, which will be the company’s mid-range phone for 2022. It will be the successor to the Pixel 5.
We’ve learned about the phone’s design and possible specs in the past. The new information suggests that the new Pixel phone will be out soon, though we don’t know when. Check out the small print.
The date of the Pixel 6a’s launch has been leaked.
Jon Prosser, a well-known tipster, has said that Google will make the Pixel 6a official at the upcoming Google I/O event, held from May 11 to May 12. This is something we’ve also heard before. It’s true that the company is said to announce it in May, but don’t get too excited just yet.
On July 28, it could be time for the actual launch. A lot of people will be able to get the phone. It’s still not clear which countries will get the Pixel 6a or if India is on the list.
This isn’t the only thing Prosser has said about the Google I/O 2022 event. They will use it to tease the long-rumoured Google Pixel Watch. People say that they also think they’ll start selling in October, which would be a good time. People who buy a new phone might also get a new Pixel 7 and a new Pixel 7 Pro.
Expectations for the Pixel 6a
As for the Pixel 6a’s design is expected to be similar to the existing Pixel 6 phones, which means it will feature a dual-tone design, a large rear camera hump, and a punch-hole display in the centre. It is also rumoured to have the same Tensor chipset as the Pixel 6 phones, as was thought before.
People think it will have 6GB of RAM, running Android 12, and have a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN like its older brother.
The Pixel Watch is expected to have a round dial, come with many health-related features, be able to connect to Fitbit and Wear OS, and more.
We need to take these facts with a grain of salt and wait for more information. We will keep you up to date on this. So, stay tuned.
