Although it may not seem like gaming and athletics go together, sports games have been a part of the medium for years.
Sports video games will likely remain popular for a long time, as seen by the millions of fans who play titles like FIFA, Madden, NBA, or WWE.
Speaking about FIFA, the newest version of the most well-known soccer game in the world is set to be launched in a few months.
Recent information on the PC version’s hardware specifications indicates they won’t be expensive.
According to several sources, FIFA 23 will reportedly not need the most advanced gaming system ever created to function efficiently.
According to official requirements, players must have a CPU with at least an Intel Core i5 6600k or AMD Ryzen 5. The game ought to operate well even with an Nvidia GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 570.
Even fulfilling the suggested conditions won’t be difficult. The minimum requirements are an i7 6700 or Ryzen 7 2700X, a GTX 1660 or RX 5600 XT graphics card, and 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. Overall, most mid-range PCs should be able to run EA Sports’ next soccer game.
This is fantastic news for anybody who is not looking to spend close to $2,000 on an Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti graphics card. Of course, the PC requirements are higher than those for FIFA 22, but this is typical for modern games.
It’s uncertain if FIFA 23 will function on the Steam Deck for those interested. The game may, however, be compatible with Valve’s portable device, considering that the Deck regularly adds new games labelled as “playable” or “certified.”
EA recently unveiled a new teaser for FIFA 23, and the company announced that the game would launch on September 30.
This most recent version of the popular sports game will premiere Women’s Football, which contains some of the “largest teams in the world,” in addition to World Cup Qatar 2022 and Ultimate Team, which lets players assemble their dream team.
Unfortunately, EA Sports and FIFA will no longer work together after this release. The series will now be known as EA Sports FC, per EA’s rebranding intentions.
But it’s unclear what the soccer franchise’s future will hold without authorization from the FIFA organization.
