COD 2023 It could be delayed, as it was reported.

COD 2023 It could be delayed: The Call of Duty franchise is well-known for many reasons, but its annual releases may be one of the most significant elements.

A new game comes out every year, and it is awarded the title of being the top-selling game. But this could be set to change in 2023.

On Twitter, leaker Tom Henderson shared information from Schreier’s report that states the following: Call of Duty 2023 will be delayed.

Henderson did not go into details of why Activision has postponed the 2023 release, even though it may be motivated in part because of the technical issues the 2021 version of Call of Duty Vanguard has had to overcome since its release.

This is the first time a new Call of Duty game has been released within an entire calendar year since the original game launched in 2003.

In the past, Infinity Ward confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone would be released in 2022 and 2022, with each game being a jewel in the Call of Duty’s industry-dominating crown.

If the date is correct, Modern Warfare 2 will be supported more than most entries, and Warzone 2 will receive more consideration.

The financials of Activision would be significantly affected by such a delay, resulting in an entirely new set of issues for the company.

It’s not clear if Microsoft’s Activision acquisition is a factor in the delay reported, but it’s a plausible reason why the game will be delayed.

Microsoft has repeatedly highlighted its use of Triple-A marquee releases, trying to rival the blockbuster Sony PlayStation exclusive titles.

Although Call of Duty will keep its multi-platform status, it’s not difficult to see how a lousy release might negatively reflect on Microsoft, especially when it’s the first release under its umbrella.

Although Microsoft’s acquisition isn’t complete yet, it’s scheduled to be completed by June 2023, and Call of Duty 2023 is likely to launch one or two months later if it’s not delayed.

It’s not too farfetched to think of Microsoft postponing the release of a Call of Duty game in the same way since Halo Infinite was delayed a year ago to make sure it was a quality game.

Microsoft could follow the same strategy to win over Call of Duty fans and remind them that they are focused on high-quality releases.
