Find out if your number is blocked on Android
Finding out if your number is blocked is a bit complicated on Android than on iPhone. Still, it has enough signs that you can use to conclude that you have been blocked. Here are the things that you need to check when you are suspecting that someone has blocked your number.
1. Count the number of rings when you call
When you call them, count the number of rings that you hear before it goes to the regular “This number is busy” or a similar message, or even a voicemail. If you only hear a single bell, and then the automated message or voicemail comes, then it is a clear indication that your number is blocked.
2. Try calling them with an alternate mobile number
The next thing you can do is to try calling them with an alternate number. You can use your mother’s, sibling’s or even your friend’s mobile to call them, and if the call goes like normal and also picked up, then you can be sure that they have blocked your number. 3. Check if your call is diverted to another number/voicemail
When you call them and your call is immediately diverted to another number or a voicemail, then it is another sign. iPhone makes it easier to find out if someone has blocked your number. However, mixed signals exist here as well. You can only conclude if you have been blocked using iMessage, calls, etc. But, you can’t be sure that you are blocked because the same things may happen when the other person’s iPhone is turned off. Still, you can try these.
1. Use iMessage to find out if your number is blocked
When you message an iPhone user via iMessage, you will receive the “Delivered” receipt when your message reaches the other person and the “Read” receipt when the open it. However, when the other person has blocked your number, your messages will stop receiving these receipts and your messages won’t reach the other person.
2. Call them to check if they have blocked your number
