Xbox is providing an additional free game: Each month, Microsoft offers Xbox Live Gold users four games to add to their digital library.
The typical bundle is the two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games, but occasionally Microsoft does a little bit outside of that routine to give Xbox Live Gold subscribers a small amount of extra.
One example is when Microsoft offered the Xbox Series X game as part of its gratis Games with Gold when it offered Games with Gold for no cost.
Its Microsoft Xbox Free Games with Gold for March 2022 include The Flame in the Flood and Street Power Soccer on Xbox One, with the first game available between March 1 and March 31, with the latter on offer between March 16 and April 15.
For the Xbox 360 side of things, customers can enjoy the game Sacred 2: Fallen Angel from March 1 through March 15 and SpongeBob’s Truth or Square between March 16 through March 31.
The left-over Aerial Knight’s No Yield also made up the Xbox free Games with Gold in February 2022 and will remain available up to March 15.
There’s a second Xbox free Games with Gold game that gamers can play in February, although there was no official announcement about it.

Today, Microsoft is hosting a Retro Sale available on its Microsoft Store, which offers users huge discounts on Xbox 360 games.
The most notable item of the sale is the inexpensive Call of Duty games; however, many other noteworthy Xbox 360 games are part of the collection also, including Port Royale 3.
If Xbox gamers go onto the Retro Sale page, they’ll be able to see the price of Port Royale 3 is priced at $4.99 for those with no Gold subscription, a staggering 75 discount.
However, gamers who have Xbox Live Gold can purchase Port Royale 3 at a massive 100% off, making it a free bonus Games with Gold game while the Retro Sale is live.
The fascinating thing is it’s the case that Port Royale 3 was already free through Gold previously.
It was in the same timeframe in the year before Port Royale 3 was among those free Xbox Games with Gold games, which is why it’s a bit odd to see it being offered once more.
Whatever the case, Xbox Live Gold subscribers that did not get it in the first place, are now able to get it into their collection.
