Some are hidden off the beaten path. When you go to Elden Ring, this is how to find the Bolt of Gransax: Let’s start with it!
Where to Find Gransax Bolt in Elden Ring
You will be able to use the Bolt of Gransax spear after you beat Godfrey in Leyndell, the Royal Capital, and you will be able to use it.
- There is a door to the west from the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace. Go through and take the elevator down to the ground level.
- This is where you start. Walk down the steps and then jump down to the giant spear stuck in a wall from the northeast walkway, just past the two Perfumer enemies on the way.
- You’ll find the Bolt of Gransax inside the giant spear if you pay attention.

You might want to look for the Bolt of Gransax after you defeat Maliketh, The Black Blade at Crumbling Farum Azula. If you do, you might not find it. It’s also one of the nine legendary weapons in the game.
Stat Requirements for Gransax’s Bolt
If you want to use the Bolt of Gransax spear, you need at least 20 Strengths and 40 Dexterity.
