- Now tap on the three dots present on the top right corner or bottom right corner of the screen. The location of the 3 vertical dots depends upon the version of Chrome you are using.
- Next, go to Settings from the pop-up menu.
- Then tap on Passwords present under the ‘Basics’ section.
- The Password window will appear. You can scroll down and see all the saved passwords here. You will see that all the passwords are arranged in alphabetical order based on the URL of websites.
- Tap on any password to select it. You will then see the password in a hidden format.
- Now tap on the eye icon next to the hidden password to view it fully.
- The device will then prompt you for authentication. Authenticate yourself using Face ID, Fingerprint or whatever lock you use for your device.
- Finally, you can view the password in plain text format.
- You copy it for further use by tapping on the copy icon present next to the username and password.

- Next, you will receive a warning message, again tap on Export Passwords.
- The device will then prompt you for authentication. Authenticate yourself using Face ID, Fingerprint or whatever lock you use for your device.
- The passwords will now appear in a shareable sheet. You can send this document through any medium you wish. However, be careful about sending this document as it will contain a lot of confidential data in text format.

- The Password window will appear. Select any password you want to delete by tapping on it from here.
- Now tap on the ‘Trash’ icon present in the top-right corner. Keep in mind that you will not be given a choice by a confirmation screen.
- The password will be removed completely from your device as soon as you tap on the Trash icon. Also, you cannot undo this action in any way.

Prevent Google Chrome from Saving Passwords
If you are anxious about your cyber-security, you can prevent Google Chrome from saving your passwords. When you do this, Chrome will no longer save the passwords you enter on any website. - The Password window will appear. Here, Turn off the toggle switch present next to ‘Save passwords.’ Now Chrome won’t save any passwords on your android device. In case, you change your mind, just follow the same procedure and turn the toggle switch back to ‘On’ position.
