A new teaser for the action RPG mobile game Disney Mirrorverse includes some of Disney’s most famous and iconic villains, who will appear in the game shortly.
These villains have roots in several beloved Disney animated classics, including Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and A Nightmare Before Christmas.
Disney Mirrorverse is centered on allowing users to take on the roles of some of the company’s animation and live-action brands’ heroes as they band together to save the universe.
The heroes have alternative world redesigns that focus on warfare and go by the name “Guardians.”
Disney Mirrorverse debuted earlier this summer and featured characters like Sully from Monsters Inc. and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story.
Almost all of the cast has been made up of heroes, with just a few villains like Captain Hook and Scar.
In addition, the selection of historical villains that players may summon has been expanded thanks to this.
The clip begins with Oogie-Boogie from A Nightmare Before Christmas using a mace to defeat several hostile Fractured monsters while shielding himself with a spiky shield.
The video’s narrative also references the villains and their playable roles in this game, remarking that “sometimes the greatest hero is a villain.”
The trailer then shows off a re-designed Ursula, where she battles the Fractured with her tentacles and black powers.
The advent of Hades from Disney’s Hercules is signaled by blue flames that erupt from the earth when Fractured monsters assault the cunning pair a second time.
This suggests that Hades will also be a character that players may call. The three characters team up with Maleficent, a playable adversary on the Mirrorverse roster, towards the video’s conclusion, which fades out to a view of Jafar, suggesting he’ll join the playable roster or serve as the main antagonist of this next event.
Maleficent, who initially served as a boss in Disney Mirroverse, was the one who created the Fractured; therefore, there was a reasonable probability that other NPC antagonists in the game would also join the roster.
In addition, fans may anticipate amusing exchanges between some of the playable heroes and these recently introduced villains since the game also includes plot events emphasizing the crossover concept.
