Snapchat’s new feature, “Shared Stories,” will let users work with more friends

Snapchat has introduced a new feature called Shared Stories. Users who have previously been invited to a Shared Stories group may utilize this feature to invite additional Snapchatters to see and participate in the tale.

The original Snapchat Tales, known as Custom Stories, only enabled added friends to watch the stories on the app.

By employing automated language recognition and other review methods to monitor additions, the social media platform has attempted to keep the group’s contents secure.

Snapchat released a press statement on Wednesday, May 25, announcing the debut of Shared Stories. This update is now available to Snapchat users.

Users will be able to choose others who will respond to or contribute to the tales with their Snap additions using the Shared Stories feature.

According to the corporation, this will enable a new level of cooperation with their Snap content.

Snaps submitted to Shared Stories, like ordinary Snapchat stories, will be erased after 24 hours. However, unlike standard friend Stories and Groups, this feature will not have a chat component to keep all talks between friends private.

Furthermore, the business has incorporated a mix of artificial language detection and new community review mechanisms to enable users to be aware of new entrants to the group while keeping their Snaps in Shared Stories secure.

Users will also be notified if they join Shared Stories with someone they have banned on Snapchat.

“This allows Snapchatters to exit the Shared Story and guarantees that Snapchatters always have total control over who they share content with on our platform,” Snapchat said.

“Shared Stories is a new version of Custom Stories, a Snapchat feature that previously enabled users to create a Story and invite others to see and participate. With our unique and enhanced Shared Stories, Snapchatters who have been invited to a group may now invite their pals, making it more straightforward for the whole soccer team, camp squad, or group of new employees to join in the fun, “the business stated.

The Shared Stories function seems to be comparable to Snapchat’s ‘Custom Stories’ feature. On the other hand, Shared Stories allow anybody to contribute or participate as long as they are welcomed into the community.
