Report: Oppo Foldable Clamshell Flip Phone Being Tested in Europe

According to a source, an Oppo folding phone and a clamshell flip phone are being tested in the European and Eurasian areas.

This is the Chinese company’s second folding phone and the first flip phone. The actual date of the phone’s release is unknown at this time.

Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find N foldable phone last year to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. However, the Chinese company’s device did not make its debut in India.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, Oppo is internally testing its future foldable and impending flip phone in several Eurasian and European locations.

He further believes that these devices will be released later this year. It might be a follow-up to the Oppo Find N, which was released last year by the Chinese business.

Like Oppo’s sibling business, OnePlus, other firms have been said to be working on foldable phones as well. Earlier this year, it was reported that OnePlus was working on a foldable phone that would resemble the Oppo Find N. BBK electronics owns Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo, and Realme, as well as Vivo and Realme.

Google is also said to be developing a foldable phone. According to reports, the handset’s introduction, which might be dubbed Google Notepad, has been postponed twice.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is in the works, with specs released. It includes an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a better back camera configuration than the previous model, and an enhanced under-display camera.
