Red Magic 7S Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 launched globally

Red Magic, a Nubia division focusing on gaming, unveiled its Red Magic 7S line of smartphones in China earlier this month. The Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro smartphones are part of the series.

Let’s look at the Red Magic 7S Pro’s cost, availability, and specs now that the manufacturer has released it to the world market.

Price and accessibility

The 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage Redmagic 7S Pro costs €779/£669/$729 for the device (Obsidian color). 

However, the 18GB RAM + 512GB setup costs €949/£809/$899 instead (Supernova and Mercury color options). 

The smartphone will be available for pre-order starting on August 2, and shipments will start on August 9.

Red Magic 7S Pro Technical Information

The 6.8-inch AMOLED display on the Red Magic 7S Pro has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone has Qualcomm LTM dimming technology developed by Red Magic.

The Red Core 1 is a company-exclusive gaming chipset used in conjunction with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 to improve the performance of the 7S Pro. 

The phone has a cutting-edge Ice 10.0 cooling mechanism. It comes with a 165W gallium nitride charging brick and a 5,000mAh battery unit with 135W rapid charging. The smartphone is powered by Android 12 with Red Magic 5.0.

  • An 8MP wide-angle lens.
  • A 2MP macro lens.
  • An LED light.
  • Two additional lenses.

The gadget has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
