Is Elden Ring Hard as Compared to other games?

If you are a fan of the FromSoftware games before or are just getting into them, you might wonder if Elden Ring is just as hard as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro.

Before Elden Ring came out, many people compared these two games, and this question isn’t new. So, it only makes sense that this game joins the fight to see which game is the most difficult.

How do we find out the answers to these questions? That’s what this guide is for!

Is Elden Ring as intricate as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, or is it even harder?

The answer is both yes and no. That’s why this game is not exactly like other games but has a lot of the same parts.

When you compare Elden Ring to other Soulsborne games, some mechanisms are more complex in Elden Ring and more accessible in the other games, but not all. When we compare this game to other games, let’s look at two essential parts of the game.

Simple facts about Elden Ring

The difficult aspect of Elden Ring

Because of this, don’t forget that the points above don’t show which game is more complex than the others. They show what makes Elden Ring easy or hard in certain situations.

How hard it is to figure out can’t be measured because it’s subjective. Also, the main thing that makes these games easy or hard is how long it takes to learn. Check these points out now.

It’s not as hard to play Elden Ring as Dark Souls or Bloodborne or Sekiro.

Spirit Ashes: If you’re new to the series, this is the most straightforward boss fight you’ve ever had. Note that this does not mean that the boss fights are easy.

Even if you use spirit ashes, you can still lose very quickly. If you upgrade your spirit ashes and know how to use your summon, the boss fights can be surprisingly easy.

To show you, let’s look at Mimic Tear. In this game, having a Mimic Tear + 10 meant that the boss was fighting two of you instead of just you. When you take Mimic Tear with Terra Magica and Comet Azur, you get the cheese for many of the game’s bosses, so that’s good.

This Spirit ash was so good that the game had to change it. The nerf didn’t stop it from being one of the best Spirit Ashes.

Fast travel makes it easy to save and use runes: You can save your runes now. To use your runes, you can open your map and quickly travel to any place of grace.

During the first Dark Souls, this wasn’t the case. A bone called the Homeward bone was used in Dark Souls if you wanted to use your souls but were not near a bonfire.

When it did that, it would take you to the bonfire that you last talked to. So, if you run out of Homeward bone, the only thing you could do would be to go back. What if you didn’t get rid of every enemy in your way?

There is one thing that is hard about Elden Ring.

There is a lot of exploration and a big world: I don’t think this isn’t good for the game. Torrent, your horse, make the vast world even more beautiful. And having a map makes it even more fun to go on walks.

But it also complicates things and makes it hard to figure out where to go from here. People can get lost even if they follow the golden lines. When you play this game, you have to figure out where to go and get there. This isn’t unique to this game, and Dark Souls had the same problem.

When you compare the game Elden Ring with other Soulsborne games.

This game is more like Dark Souls games than Bloodborne or Sekiro. Players can choose from a wide range of classes and weapons, just like in Dark Souls. These games also have a lot more in common with each other regarding how they play.

Bloodborne is faster than Dark Souls, but it still felt a little like the game. On the other hand, Sekiro had a completely different set of tools.

They went from posture-based boss fights to the use of combat arts. Sekiro is very different from these other games when you compare it.
