Huawei Mate 50 smartphones launched in China on September 6

The company has officially announced the launch date for Huawei’s forthcoming Mate 50 series flagship smartphones. Huawei is getting ready to introduce these devices in its native China.

The business has announced that it will hold a launch event on September 6 to officially introduce the brand-new Huawei Mate 50 series smartphones to the Chinese market.

Although Huawei announced the launch date, the business has not yet shared the phone’s significant attributes and technical details.

But we know what to anticipate because of several leaks and certifications. The Mate 50, Mate 50e, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Edition are the expected four variants in the series.

With just 4G LTE available for connectivity, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC will power the Huawei Mate 50. The company’s Kirin 9000S processor will power the other versions in the series, including the Pro variant.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC is anticipated to be used in the Huawei Mate 50e variant.

Although the Huawei Kirin 9000S CPU has not yet been made public, it is most likely to be a modified version of the Kirin 9000 SoC, which is currently the company’s final flagship chipset due to US-imposed restrictions.

According to rumors, the phones will have an OLED display made by BOE with a refresh rate of 90Hz on the entry-level model and 120Hz on the top-tier variants.

The new series will run Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS 3.0, also known as HongMeng OS in China, much like previous smartphones from the firm.
