Windows Defender is Microsoft’s in-house antivirus product, and it has been protecting users for a long time. However, in Microsoft’s Windows 10, its interface and usability didn’t improve much. That’s why we recommend disabling it by pressing CTRL + ALT + Delete and go to Task Manager > Start-Up.
First, go to the ‘Process’ tab and disable any unused apps from your desktop/Laptop.
Lastly, set the Windows Defender Security/Notification Icon to Disabled. Similarly, you can disable any normal app from the startup. It will dramatically reduce your windows load time and will make your Windows 10 Run Faster.

If you are a Windows 10 user, you should notice some ads related to games and applications on the Windows Store that appear from time to time on the device’s Lock Screen.
Of course, this feature is also considered by some users as a nuisance. To get rid of them:
- Open up the Settings app and follow Personalization > Lock Screen.
- In the drop-down menu, make sure Windows Spotlight is not selected.
- Choose either Picture or Slideshow instead. However, our preference is to select Picture.
