It turns out that Sifu‘s protagonist can overcome death using a talisman pendant.
However, this comes at the expense of many years of their lives.
The Sifu can be difficult at any age. However, players should stay young to avoid losing more years to defeat.
This encourages dedication to learning Kung Fu and using all the skills and techniques the player has.
Players will notice that Sifu has been finished with Yang defeated. However, no credits appear to close it formally.
Players have another ending to reach, describing how they might do it.
How to unlock Sifu’s true ending and roll credits
To unlock Sifu’s true ending and receive roll credits, it is necessary to complete Sifu consistently and reach the standard finish.
This ending, although not stated explicitly in-game, allows players to unlock the actual end.
Players will need to go back to each stage to confront each boss again. Sifu‘s bosses should be avoided this time and not killed.
This involves breaking each boss’s structure bar twice in the second phase and resisting the temptation to execute them with a final animation.
Instead, you will see a Spare prompt with a new cutscene.
Players who want to reach the true ending won’t have to suffer as much as their previous playthroughs.
The save file containing bosses is the same as the one they beat recently.
Players can therefore keep any permanently unlocked skills from Sifu.
Players who have moved from stage to stage at the youngest age are also retained.
The fact that Yang’s defeat does not result in credits rolling hints that the ending may not be the real one.
