It’s been nearly six months since Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was released in India; however, many players still struggle to achieve the team-up effect within the game.
If you’re one of them, then you need to look no further because we’ve provided you with the information you need.
The team-up special effect, also known as group emote, is accessible for players in BGMI, PUBG Mobile, and PUBG New State, but getting it is slightly different for every game.
This post will help you understand how to access the special effects of team-ups in BGMI.
However, before we go over the process to get this feature for Battlegrounds Mobile India, let me clarify that this feature is only available to be utilized for players with Crown Privilege and Ace Privilege players.
For those not yet in the game, Crown or Ace Privilege is a reward to players who achieve levels of Crown or Ace tiers or the equivalent in this season’s BGMI.
These are the top ranks available in Battlegrounds Mobile India and take an extended period and resources to unlock.
In BGMI, players must attain 3700-3800 points to get to the level Crown V followed by 3800 to 3900 (Crown IV) 3900 to 4000 (Crown III) as well as 4000-4100 (Crown II) or 4100-4200 (Crown 1).
You will be issued a Crown C1S3 Name Tag if you can meet the criteria.
When you’ve attained Ace Tier, you will be required to play a minimum of five games to gain the team-up effect to be unlocked in BGMI.
After completing the game, you’ll be awarded an Ace C1S3 Name Tag.
What Is Team-up Special Effect In BGMI?
The Team-up Special Effect is nothing more than an emote which can be employed in the lobby, either in the duo or squad modes.
As we mentioned previously, this effect is only accessible by Ace or Crown tier players.
How To Use Team-up Special Effect In BGMI?
If you satisfy the above conditions, you’ll have an unlocked team-up effect for the upcoming BGMI season. After a new season has underway, you can wear the Crown and Ace Name Tag to showcase your level alongside other players.
To add the name tag within BGMI, go towards the Profile section and click on Edit.
In the Edit section, you’ll need to click on the Name Tag tab and select the name tag of the crown player.
Then, select to attach it.
This is all you need to know to achieve the special effects of team-up in BGMI.
