Free Fire App Banned In India?

Free Fire from Garena has abruptly disappeared from both the App Store and the Play Store in India. The sudden removal of the game on iOS and Android platforms has raised some questions among gamers. 

The app has been unavailable to download since the 12th of February. However, Garena hasn’t revealed any reason why they have decided to de-listing the app out of both the Google Play Store and Apple App store at this time.

In addition, many users who already have it installed were experiencing difficulties logging in to social networks. As a result, the game was removed from the App Store in the early hours of Saturday (local hour) and was removed from Google Play Store later in the evening.

The game’s upgraded version, Free Fire MAX, isn’t available on the App Store as well but is available in the Google Play Store at the moment of writing.

There is no way to tell if Garena or one of the Free Fire’s social media channels has posted a statement about the issue as of the writing time. 

However, free Fire’s Facebook page acknowledged the login issues in a post and claimed that the problem was investigated.
