Escape from Tarkov Releases Update 0.12.12.30 Patch Notes: Massive, game-changing content upgrades with unexpected and expected additions are nothing new for Escape From Tarkov.
EFT players know that the game’s creator, Battlestate Games, isn’t above keeping things under wraps, from relatively straightforward additions like new weaponry and goods to whole new concepts. This is the case with the game’s most recent update.
In particular, the 0.12.12.30 patch for Escape From Tarkov has recently been released, bringing several significant changes to the meta, including a small redesign of its movement inertia system.
However, there is also a ton of new weaponry introduced, the Lighthouse map has been significantly expanded, and a crucial multiplayer feature that the PvE-focused section of the community will like.
Escape From Tarkov’s most recent pre-wipe event, in which players were showered with riches wherever they went, served as a signal about the next content release.
The economics of the game has since been fully rebalanced, and all player progress has been utterly erased.
Three new roaming rogue bosses will confront every player or NPC in several of the game’s areas, including the recently renovated Lighthouse, to slow down players.
These bosses are highly hazardous to players who are not prepared since they may utilize any weapon, even the latest additions like the H&K G36 and the AI AXMC marksman’s rifle, to hunt down targets.
However, there are other new sources of wealth besides the three new Rogue bosses. The airdrop mechanism will be significantly enhanced for players, with 4 distinct sorts of containers falling at random.
The Flare Gun may be used to initiate an airdrop. Still, doing so would reveal the user’s position to all surrounding players and NPCs, underscoring that Tarkov is one of the most horrific survival games available.
The player base will undoubtedly be thrilled by the wealth of new equipment and features introduced with the latest content update.
However, it’s still important to note that EFT’s eagerly anticipated Streets level is still unavailable and that there doesn’t appear to be any information about when it will be.
Tarkov now supports AMD’s FSR more upscale, but it doesn’t explicitly contain FSR 2.0 compatibility, which will please low-spec gamers.
Last, Battlestate Games has started developing an exclusive offline co-op option for Escape From Tarkov.
The function is presently restricted to owners of the most costly “Edge of Darkness” version of the game and does not store any progress achieved during cooperative offline plays.
Therefore, it is probable that the recently revealed Escape From Tarkov: Arena will release before the dedicated offline co-op option is finished.
