The divorce of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates has finalized that they are divorcing.

However, the Microsoft co-founder and his wife announced in May that they were ending their 27-year marriage. On Monday, a King County Superior Court judge signed the dissolution decree. 

The New York Times reports that the court documents did not detail how they would divide their assets.

Both of them met after she joined Microsoft as a product manager in 1987. They were married in 1994 in Hawaii.
