Facebook Updates to Horizon Worlds; More Details at Connect Event: Mark Zuckerberg

The CEO of Meta has announced on Facebook that Horizon Worlds would shortly get “significant improvements.” The CEO said that there would soon be updated avatar visuals.

The CEO said he would provide additional information at a later Connect event for the firm. The CEO said in the article that the previously released screenshot of his Horizon Worlds avatar was “very primitive.” The leadership announced the opening of Horizon Worlds in France and Spain on Facebook on August 16.

The company’s chief executive officer, Mark Zuckerberg, said through Facebook that Horizon Worlds would soon get “significant improvements” from Meta.

The avatar visuals will also soon be modified, according to Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg will provide further information about the upgrades at the company’s Connect conference.

Zuckerberg also released a picture of his Horizon Worlds avatar along with the news. He conceded that the original image had been “very simple.” According to Zuckerberg’s Facebook post on the avatar, “it was taken really fast to commemorate a launch.” He continued by saying that “much more” could be done with the Horizon Worlds visuals. On the VR headsets, it is also said that the visuals are more advanced.

The CEO of Meta, previously Facebook, said that Horizon Worlds is progressing “quite swiftly.” He posted a picture of his avatar and the announcement to demonstrate the potential of Horizon Worlds and avatar visuals.

Days after the business revealed through Facebook that it had started the Horizon Worlds in France and Spain, Zuckerberg published the article. The picture that Zuckerberg calls “very simple” was first released with the announcement. A Horizon Worlds avatar of Mark Zuckerberg was shown in the picture next to a replica of the Eiffel Tower.
