Arceus Might Change the Future of Pokemon Forever

Why Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a GameChanger

Be it your opinion, or not the Pokemon game has been around for quite a while.

They’ve taken the basic formula to a T with turn-based battles, going to gyms, and even catching Pokemon.

However, since The Pokemon Company establish in 1998, the game remain linear.

There have been hints of possibility there and then, when the company attempted to break the mold with games such as Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and the Mystery Dungeon series, but even when they got the momentum in the right direction, TPC would intentionally hit the brakes and go back to making the standard dull, formulaic games.

This is why an overwhelming portion of the Pokemon fans have been waiting for a Pokemon game that doesn’t adhere to the standard conventions but is more flexible.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is Consider a Main Entry in the Series

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the next major Pokemon adventure. That’s right; it’s the second primary entry in the series following Sword and Shield.

The primary reason fans are so excited about this release is that it’s a “bold, new direction” for the series, as per The Pokemon Company themselves.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus aims to keep previous Pokemon games’ basic gameplay while also incorporating new gameplay and RPG elements.

A glance at the initial trailer to the competition will show how different it looks from previous versions.

If I were, to sum up, Pokemon Legends: Arceus with the information we give up to now, it’s akin to Breath of the Wild – it’s an open world, and everything is exploratory drive.

However, it will be base on the mythology and worlds of Pokemon.

The Story: Going Back to Where it All Began

Its story Pokemon Legends: Arceus will lead us to the past. The story is set when Sinnoh was still referred to as Hisui.

This was before the idea of becoming an official Pokemon trainer or being a member of an official Pokemon League even existed.

Because Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set to take place in the previous edition of the Sinnoh region, you’re likely anticipating the three big Pokemon of the three Pokemon – Chimchar, Piplup, and Turtwig appearing similar to earlier Diamond and Pearl games.

But not this time since this game’s Pokemon Legends: Arceus starters include a different group of Pokemon.

Rowlett, Oshawott, and Cyndaquil will be the first Pokemon you encounter when beginning your journey.

According to The Pokemon Company, these three Pokemon were introduced to Hisui by one of the professors who met them as he traveled through different regions.

Pokemon Legends aims Arceus to design – and hopefully complete – the original Sinnoh Pokedex.

You’ll need to find your way around, watch, and, should you wish, capture every Pokemon within the Hisui region to complete the Pokedex to be part of the brand new Galaxy group’s Survey Corps.

Furthermore, it is believed that also, the Mythical Pokemon Arceus (as mentioned by the name) is expected to play prominently in the tale.

According to the official Pokemon mythology, Arceus is said to have “shaped all there is to the world” and is the creator god of sorts.

It’s not clear what Arceus can be integrated into the game; however, The Pokemon Company describes the Mythical Pokemon as the central figure in the story.

Going Head-to-Head With Pokemon

Pokemon Legends: Arceus will combine a variety of real-time elements and the classic RPG mechanics to create an entirely new experience in the world of ARPG for the Pokemon Legends franchise.

We already know that the vast, open world is reminiscent of Breath of the Wild in its aesthetic and scope.

So expect the game to be filled with exploration of the undiscovered.

Like Wild Areas in Pokemon Sword and Shield, The Wild Pokemon featured in Pokemon Legends: Arceus can be seen wandering around and around the surroundings.

It is possible to start a battle with wild Pokemon by calling one of your Pokémon to come out in front of them; however, you could also opt for an alternative that isn’t as aggressive by simply observing them and then throwing a Poke Ball when they least would.

The most intriguing thing about the sport is that it doesn’t require a confrontation with a Pokemon to capture them technically.

You can sit in the grassy area or the shade of trees to sneakily catch the creatures.

Be aware that your Pokemon could be injured this time when a ferocious Ursaring and Snorlax slay you.

Conclusion

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is sure to be a refreshingly new version of a long-running formula that is beginning to

become old.

People will likely be unhappy with the game, such as not having the same 90 species currently in the National Dex; I’m hopeful that this game will provide the overhaul that the Pokemon franchise desperately needs.
