MacOS 13 Ventura, Apple’s next edition of the software for Mac and MacBook devices, was unveiled during the WWDC 2022 keynote on Monday.
Through Stage Manager, the new macOS edition delivers an improved multitasking experience. Mail, Notes, Reminders, and Messages are among the preinstalled programs that have been redesigned in macOS 13.
In addition, macOS 13 Ventura includes a new Safari browser from Apple. Both Intel-powered and Apple Silicon-based Mac machines will be able to download the next macOS update.

Developers who joined the Apple Developer Program were given early access to macOS 13 Ventura for testing reasons. Next month, the new version will be accessible as a public beta, and it will be available for download later this year – most likely in October.
Features of macOS 13 Ventura
The inclusion of Stage Manager, which allows you to see the list of programs operating on the system from a single window, is one of the most notable features of macOS 13 Ventura. Users may multitask by activating Stage Manager straight from the Control Centre.
The latest macOS update also contains redesigned System Preferences, which now resemble the iPhone and iPad’s Settings interface. It offers app-specific options that are organized per app.
The new macOS update also contains several revamped applications to improve the platform’s overall user experience.
Apple has also released a new Messages app with social networking-like features. The software comes pre-installed on macOS 13 and iOS 16, much as it does on iOS 16.
Spotlight has been enhanced in the latest macOS version, allowing you to get rich results for your searches. On macOS 13, Spotlight may also be used to start a timer.
Apple has included a revamped Mail app with macOS 13 Ventura. It improves the search experience by providing recommendations and spelling corrections. Safari on macOS Ventura has also been upgraded, allowing you to share tabs with friends and use Passkeys.
The latter is a passwordless authentication standard that allows you to log in to many Web services using biometrics and Touch ID.
macOS Ventura uses Metal 3 and MetalFX Upscaling for a better gaming experience. Developers will be able to render rich, graphically complex scenarios quicker on the system thanks to the advent of MetalFX Upscaling.
According to Apple, no Man’s Sky will be the first game to arrive on the Mac later this year, and it will be one of the first games to feature MetalFX Upscaling.
Apple has added Continuity to FaceTime, allowing customers to transfer calls from an iPhone to a Mac easily. Additionally, macOS Ventura has the Continuity Camera function, which allows you can utilize your iPhone as a camera with your MacBook for improved video conferencing.
Apple’s current Centre Stage and Portrait Mode are compatible with the Continuity Camera functionality. FaceTime, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx are among the applications that support the capability.
Users will now be able to purchase Belkin stands to connect their iPhone to a MacBook for usage with Continuity Camera.
The Clock app, as well as additional Memoji customizations, are included in the latest macOS update. It also includes Shared Photo Library, which was previously only accessible on iOS 16. In addition, the operating system may separate the topic from the backdrop in visuals.
