iPhones and iPads with iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 can now get the new software. This new update has a lot of small changes and a big change to Face ID.
The iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 updates can be downloaded for free, and you can get them.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update on your phone to get to the new software.
When you wear a mask, you can still use Face ID on iOS 15.4. iPadOS 15.4 adds Universal Control, which lets you control multiple Macs and iPads with the same mouse or trackpad and keyboard.
To use Universal Control, all iPad and Mac devices must be running iPadOS 15.4 or later and macOS Monterey 12.3 or later, respectively.
Over 100 new emoji from the Emoji 14.0 set, a new voice option for Siri, and the ability to give time and date information offline are also new features in 15.4.
Apple has also released watchOS 8, Mac OS Monterey 12.3, tvOS 15.4, and HomePod Software 15 on its own.
