Xiaomi 12S specifications leaked Ahead of the official launch

Online leaks of the Xiaomi 12S’s specs have occurred before its July 4 debut. Along with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and 12S Pro, the forthcoming Xiaomi phone will also be introduced.

It is anticipated to include a 120Hz refresh rate display and three back cameras, the primary one of which will be a 50-megapixel sensor.

The Xiaomi 12S may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging. It is said to include up to 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM.

On Twitter, well-known tipper Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) released the Xiaomi 12S’s details. According to the leak, the forthcoming phone would run MIUI 13 on top of Android 12 and have a 6.28-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

As previously announced, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 256GB of storage may power the device.

One of the first smartphone lines to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is anticipated to be the Xiaomi 12S series.

There may be two RAM and storage configurations available: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

The Xiaomi 12S is said to have a triple-back camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor as its focal point. A 13-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor and a 5-megapixel telephoto lens are reportedly part of the camera configuration.

A 32-megapixel sensor might be placed at the front of the device for selfies and video calls. The forthcoming model is anticipated to have a camera system that Xiaomi and Leica jointly developed.

A 4,500mAh battery with 67W cable charging and 50W wireless charging compatibility is also said to be included.

On July 4 at 7 p.m. CST in Asia, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S are scheduled to debut (4:30 pm IST). Xiaomi’s social media platforms will live broadcast the unveiling.
