Apple beta testers may now test the final candidate versions of the company’s newest iOS and iPadOS updates.
According to Macrumors, the Cupertino-based tech giant recently distributed release candidate copies of its impending iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 updates for testing to developers and public beta testers.
According to Apple Insider, the final candidate versions of Apple’s iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 upgrades are the fifth beta round of the two operating systems. The fourth was issued a week ago.
Apple iOS 15.5 And iPadOS 15.5 RC Additions
According to Macrumors, 15.5’s “final candidate” versions included minor improvements and a few modifications compared to its predecessors.
According to 9to5Mac, one of the new minor improvements is Apple Wallet, which allows consumers to send and request money from their Apple Cash card.
Fixes for an issue where home automation may fail when prompted by people coming or departing and a new option in Apple Podcasts that limits the number of episodes kept on your iPhone while automatically eliminating older ones to conserve space.
The Apple Classical app will be included in the final candidate versions since it is mentioned in the beta. The software is not currently available for beta testing.
According to a different MacRumors story, the Apple Classical app is the successor of Primephonic, a classical music service that Apple acquired and promptly shut down last year.
According to Apple, the app would enable users, mainly classical music enthusiasts, to listen to their favorite classical tracks on-demand for a “more enjoyable listening experience.”
This is apparently due to the software merging Primephonic’s user interface and classical music knowledge with Apple Music’s lossless spatial audio.
The Apple Classical app will be released separately from Apple Music, most likely in iOS 15.5.
Finally, in the final candidate version of the Home app, Wi-Fi signal indications for the HomePod will be shown.
Apple iOS 15.5 And iPadOS 15.5 Release Date
The names “release candidate” and “final candidate” usually signify that the iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 betas are the final versions before publication to the public.
As a result, iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 are likely to be available to the general public soon, with most outlets, including 9to5Mac, anticipating the upgrade to come next week.
Expert Edward Ferguson verified the release date on their Twitter account, claiming that iOS 15.5 (together with iPadOS 15.5) would be available to the public next week.
If you’re beta testing iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15, it’s crucial to remember not to install beta software on your primary devices; there’s a chance you’ll lose data or have other difficulties if you install the current release for iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5.
