Next-Generation Patch for Dying Light: Dying Light 2 was released in February with great reviews from critics and fans.
It will be receiving decades upon years of post-launch updates to content similar to the original Dying Light.
Even after the launch of Dying Light 2, Dying Light continues to receive support since the long-awaited next-gen update is finally out.
The Game Gets an Upgrade Across Three Consoles
Fans who own Dying Light can now download the latest patch. At present, the patch is available only for PS4 Pro and PS5.
The Xbox Series X|S versions of the patch are expected to be delayed for just several days.
There are several improvements included in the next generation patch. These improvements take 3 video modes.
Performance mode offers the game 60 frames per second at HD resolution. Balanced mode provides the game with 60 frames per second at 1440p resolution.
To achieve a 4K resolution, gamers must switch to the high-resolution mode.
This allows the game to run at 30 frames per second. This video option is available for both PS5 and the Xbox Series X.
This version of the PS4 Pro also received the new-generation patch.
The only change in this version is an increased framerate of 30 frames per second.
