Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note series is dead.

Galaxy Note series is dead: People have been wondering what will happen to the Note series in Samsung’s smartphone lineup for a while now.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra came out in February. The Korean company has ended the question and said that the Galaxy Note series is no more.

Indeed, we won’t be getting any new Note phones in the next few years. There are a lot of things to look at right now.

Galaxy S Ultra = New Galaxy Note

Head of Mobile Experience Roh Tae-moon said that the “Galaxy Note series” will be called the “Galaxy S-series Ultra” and that this is how it will be for the next few years.

So, yeah, the name “Galaxy Note” has been phased out now. There are still some things that made the series great, like its immense size and S Pen slot.

It’s important to know that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, which came out in 2020, were the last phones with the name “Note.”

When the company didn’t make a Note phone last year, the company added the S Pen to the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Finally, Samsung took a big step and released the Galaxy S22 Ultra, a mix of the Galaxy Note and S-series.

Galaxy S22 Ultra and S22 and S22+ were both released last month.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra came out with these phones if you haven’t been paying attention.

You can tell it’s from the Note series because of its bigger size and built-in S Pen slot.

We even wrote a comparison between the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Ultra to show that the S22 Ultra is more like a Note-style phone than an S-series phone.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has marked the start of the change, and we’ll see more Note-like features in the following Galaxy S Ultra models.

As for why Samsung had to kill off the Galaxy Note series, well, it was to make room for the company’s growing line of foldable phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models from Samsung lead the foldable smartphone market.

We expect Samsung to put more attention on these lines soon.

There will be no more Note phones, which usually come out in September each year.

This means that we can expect new foldable phones to come out in the second half of the year from now on.
