According to Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones, Expert RAW app support will be available starting Friday, February 25th.
South Korean tech giant Samsung had already introduced beta support for the Expert Raw app for the Galaxy S21 Ultra in December 2021.
Expert RAW provides full manual camera controls, multi-frame capture, and Adobe Lightroom integration.
The app’s first stable release will be available to Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra users.
Later this year, the company will offer support for Expert RAW on a few devices.

In a forum post earlier this month, Samsung announced that its Expert RAW app would be available for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones.
This support will take place on February 25, according to Samsung.
Based on the company’s release plan, these handsets will be the first to access the stable version.
Complete manual camera control will be available to users. Samsung offers a Pro mode on specific primary and ultra-wide angle camera models.
But the Expert RAW way adds additional functionality to compatible smartphones.
It allows you to capture RAW images directly from your telephoto camera. Users will save images as JPEG or Linear DNG 16 bit RAW files with the Expert RAW app.
These files can be then imported into Adobe Lightroom to be edited and exported.
The Samsung Galaxy S21Ultra will receive the app in March.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get Expert RAW support in April. The Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones will use the app in the second half of 2022.
Samsung claims that the app will not work with specific models, such as the Samsung Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy Note 20. This is due to the telephoto camera’s lack of Bayer RAW output.
