PUBG Mobile hosts its first virtual K-pop concert this month

Mobile battle royale game Blackpink, a K-Pop group, will perform at the first-ever in-game virtual concert hosted by PUBG Mobile. Games like Fortnite have routinely staged these concerts, including singers like Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Alan Walker, and others.

This concert will be held in July by PUBG. Tencent Games, the company behind PUBG Mobile, has declared that the game’s “ever-evolving environment” is growing.

Virtual concert on PUBG Mobile: Dates, Tickets

According to the official tweet, there will be many games on July 23–24 and again on July 30–31. The concert will be open to South and North American players on July 22–23 and July 29–30, while it will be held for the “rest of the world” on July 23–24 and July 30-31.

From July 15, interested gamers may purchase in-game tickets for this show. They will also need to download a particular assets pack in advance to see the concert.

The K-pop group Blackpink will be the concert’s primary attraction. Each artist in the group will have an avatar that attendees may see. 

Furthermore, the creators have said that until August 31, PUBG players will be able to purchase “eye-catching clothes” worn by the band and use them on the battlefield.

In addition, Tencent Games has scheduled a concert where $100 will be given to the top three PUBG Mobile players wearing the most acceptable K-pop-inspired attire.

The challenge starts on July 12 at 10 a.m. PDT and lasts through July 25 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, according to the firm. (If necessary, use a website to assist convert to your time zone.)
