Redmi K50 Series will be officially launched in China: After many leaks and rumors, we finally have an announcement date for the long-awaited Redmi K50 series. Xiaomi has announced that it will release this Redmi K50 series, most likely comprising three models: Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+ on March 17 in China.

Redmi K50 Series Launch Date Revealed

Xiaomi’s Redmi division revealed the information via an earlier Weibo message. The Redmi K50 series was announced. 

Redmi K50 series will launch on March 17 at 19:00 China time, which is equivalent to 4:30 pm IST.

The company also revealed an official teaser image that confirms the Redmi’s (and even the K50 Pro’s) back panel design.

 It will have a uniform camera hump like those seen on smartphones like the Vivo X60 and the Xiaomi Mi 10T smartphones and was speculated earlier. 

The camera setup is expected to include the small camera module, house three cameras at the rear. 

The primary camera of the three cameras is believed to be 108 megapixels.

It’s also been revealed there is a possibility that Redmi K50 Pro+ will be powered by the most recent MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset that has been reported to have been awarded the AnTuTu rating of 1,041,818. 

It is also said that the Redmi K50 Pro is also believed to feature the same chip, while the regular Redmi K50 model could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Generation 1.

The three Redmi K50 versions are anticipated to be equipped with a 120Hz display and up to 120W rapid charging, different camera functions, and many more options to choose from. 

But, we don’t have specific details available to us yet and will let you know when we have access to the elements. Also, there’s no confirmation whether or not all the Redmi K50 phones will be sporting the same shape factor.

Xiaomi has also announced that it will launch the Redmi 10 in India this same day for those who aren’t aware.
