Starfield was a crucial part of Microsoft’s recent June presentation, as predicted, topping off an event that was already jam-packed with previews, news, and gameplay. While the Starfield delay is undoubtedly frustrating, fans were at least given a slew of new information to help them pass the time.
Todd Howard revealed that the game is far more comprehensive than most people thought, with a more extended primary mission, the ability to build bases and spacecraft, and the ability to go to multiple galaxies and worlds.
Actual gameplay from the ambitious project was also shown, including battle against a space pirates group, wandering around several villages, and interacting with NPC characters.
The general improvement in face movements in Starfield compared to some of Bethesda’s previous RPG games was immediately noticeable.
Small elements such as dynamic skin folds, face motions, and skin wrinkles are now more distinct, giving the characters a more realistic appearance.

The gameplay clips also included several characters, including one about whom the community seems to have unearthed new information.
The identities of many of the NPCs players will encounter, some expected to be rather crucial to the game’s main plot, were not given.
A figure in a spacesuit may be seen in the most recent teaser and a snapshot suggesting that the player’s Starfield character will not have a voice.
While the trailer doesn’t confirm any facts about this person, users who utilized the Alt Text function on the tweeted screenshot determined that the guy’s name is Barrett.
Barrett seems to question the player if they have dug up an object called The Relic and the visions it appears to cause in the trailer. With little else to go on, the community has attempted to fill in the gaps, with many agreeing that Barrett will most likely serve as a Starfield introductory character, perhaps handing out fetch quests or providing the first details of the main quest, with some joking that he’ll be killed off within the first 30 minutes of the game. Many people have joked that since he has the name Barrett, he has a gun arm, an obvious allusion to Final Fantasy 7’s Barret Wallace.
In addition to better character animations, Bethesda has ensured that other aspects of the game, such as the cities and towns that players will encounter, have been expanded.
New Atlantis, the game’s capital city, is the largest Bethesda ever developed, with many people, quests, events, and other attractions to explore.
