Motorola Edge 30 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC: Motorola unveiled the Motorola Edge 30 Pro in India on the last day of February (February 24, 2019).
The brand new Motorola handset is the sequel to Motorola Edge 20 Pro, launched the year before.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes with a 144Hz pOLED screen and three rear cameras.
It also comes with a fast-charging of 68W and a water-resistant build. It comes with a feature called Ready For, which allows users to use their mobile apps with a large display or use it as a webcam to video conference sessions held on the Windows 11 laptop.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro competes against other phones like Asus ROG phone 5s Vivo X70 Pro and the iQoo 9 series.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro price in India, availability
Motorola Edge 30 Pro price in India is fixed at Rs. 49,999 for only 8GB RAM plus 128GB storage.
The phone is available as Cosmos Blue and Stardust White color options and will be available to purchases via Flipkart and the major retail stores from March 4.
The launch offers for the Motorola Edge 30 Pro smartphone include an all-inclusive price of cost of Rs. 5000 off Flipkart and an offer of the price of Rs. 5k cashback at the retail outlets — valid to those with SBI credit cards.
Also, there will be—15,000 worth of benefits offered to Jio customers. Additionally, Jio will come without cost EMI plans for as long as 9 months for Axis, HDFC, ICICI, and SBI cardholders.
It is expected that the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will also be available in the US as the Motorola Edge+ for $999 (roughly around Rs. 75,500).
Motorola Edge 20 Pro was released in India earlier this year.
It was priced at Rs. 36,999 for an identical 8GB and 128GB configuration.
The previous model had the most prominent features like AMOLED displays with 144Hz refresh rate and triple rear cameras, with the primary sensor 108 megapixels, and a battery of 4,500mAh with fast charging of 30W.

Dual-SIM (Nano) Motorola Edge 30 Pro runs Android 12.3 and has a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) POLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 with 144Hz refresh speed and DCI-P3 color space.
The display is secured by 2.5D curvature Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with an anti-fingerprint coating.
Under the hood, the phone is equipped with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 SoC and eight GB LPDDR5 memory.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes with three rear camera configurations, each of which houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens as well as an Omni-directional Phase-Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and the optical image stabilizer (OIS).
The camera setup also has an ultra-wide camera with 50-megapixels and a two-megapixel depth sensor.
Motorola has integrated the triple camera with two LED flashes. The phone can also support up to 24fps video recording in 8K.
It also supports high-quality slow motion (1080p) videos with up to 960 frames per second frame rate.
This Motorola Edge 30 Pro carries the 60-megapixel camera at the front and an f/2.2 lens to take selfies or video chats.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage onboard that cannot be expanded. The connectivity options are 5G 4G LTE, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2 A-GPS/GPS, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
Sensors on the board include an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, a gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Additionally, there is an on-site fingerprint sensor.
Motorola has outfitted its Edge 30 Pro with dual stereo speakers tuned to Dolby Atmos.
The phone comes with three microphones. The phone comes with an IP52 water-resistant design.
