Anyone can say for sure why Minecraft has been so popular, but no matter what, the game has been around for a long time and changed a lot over time, so we don’t know for sure what’s behind its success or how it’s changed over time.
Minecraft also had the advantage of becoming popular at the same time as social media became more common.
This allowed for more marketing and allowed players to share their servers and creations right away.

Attention to detail isn’t the only impressive thing. The size of the mediaeval city might be even more special.

Tiny houses stand out next to high walls and more significant buildings. When the camera pans out to show the whole town, it might make someone gasp.
They’ll see houses that look like small huts next to watchtowers, but an enormous castle keep dwarfs the towers themselves.
The keep itself towers over the nearby mountains, and it might even match the height of the Minecraft version of Landmark 81, Vietnam’s tallest building.
