How to Play Cards Against Humanity

  • Each player must choose ten white answer cards from the deck. The black Question cards must be placed face-down.
  • When it comes to picking the first black Question card, the official rules book is quite silly. According to the rules, the “Card Czar” should be the first person to choose the black Question card.
  • The black Question card should be picked up by the player reading it aloud to other players. The card should then be placed face-up.
  • Now each player must choose an answer from the white Answer cards for the Question. It is essential to select the wittiest answer possible. After each player has selected a white Answer Card, they will need to place the white cards in a pile. You must follow the same order throughout the game. Sometimes, players may be asked to pick two by a black card. Players should choose two white cards instead of one.
    • The chosen Card Czar will then pick up the white cards and shuffle them. After they have been adequately mixed, the white cards must be reread, then the black Question card and all-white Answer cards. The white cards should be placed face-up as if they were being played.
    • The Card Czar will now select his favorite answer from all-white cards, and that player receives an Awesome Point.
    • This concludes the first round. The next game should begin with a new Card Czar, which is the person who sits to the left of the current Card Czar.
    • You can play the game until you get bored or until one of your players reaches 100 Awesome Points.
