How to Get Home Points in Pokemon

Get Home Points in Pokemon: The Pokemon Company has released the long-awaited 2.0 update for the Game app, which includes support for some of the more recent mainline Pokemon games, including Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl. The app is free to download and can help trainers transfer Pokemon from one game to another.

One advantage the Switch version of Pokemon Home has over the mobile version is turning in points and transferring them to other games.

Because navigating both the mobile and Switch versions of Pokemon Home can be confusing, this guide will go over how to get Points in Pokemon Home and what you can use them.

Checking Points

Players can see their total number of points in the mobile version of Pokemon Home by going to the “Your Room” tab and looking next to their name.

Click the P with a circle around it on the bottom of the Switch version of Pokemon Home. This takes players to the Points menu, where they can exchange them for other items.

How to Get Pokemon Home Points

The  app doesn’t say how to collect points? but according to the official site, “Pokemon Home points are earned as you deposit more Pokemon into your account.

You can exchange your Pokemon Home points for BP (Battle Points) in core games if you use the Nintendo Switch version of the game”

It appears to work in the same way that interest in a savings account does. The more Pokemon in Pokemon Home’s storage boxes, the more points players will earn overtime.

Players must wait for points to be added to their accounts after the Pokemon are deposited.

What Do Pokemon Home Points Mean?

Players can transfer their points to other games by using the Switch version of the game. Will earn Merit Points if the issues are assigned to Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Can obtain Battle Points (BP) by transferring to Sword/Shield or Pokemon BDSP.

What does the Premium Plan entail?

Players who want more storage space to get the most the game can pay a few dollars to upgrade to the Premium Plan.

To get the Premium Plan, go to the main menu of Pokemon Home for Switch and press the Nintendo eShop button. Select ‘Check Plan’ from the Options menu on the mobile version.

The upgrade costs $2.99 per month, or $4.99 for three months and $15.99 for a year. The following are include in the plan:

  • Move Pokemon across from Pokemon Bank
  • You can deposit and store more than 6000 Pokemon
