Can iPhone SE (2022) compete with Androids?

When the iPhone SE (2022) goes on sale in India, the price starts at about 40,000. The new iPhone has a build that looks like the iPhone 8 or the iPhone SE if you’ve seen them (2020). Inside, it has a few changes that make it better for you.

The iPhone SE (2022) will have the same chip as the iPhone 13 generation, which means that it is likely to get many iOS updates in the future. This is a lot more than you could get on the iPhone SE before.

However, does the new iPhone model have the power to compete with Android phones in its price range?

This month, Apple came out with the iPhone SE (2022) to give people who want a new, cheaper iPhone a new experience. It comes with the A15 Bionic chip, which can connect to 5G and has a better camera.

Camera modes like Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Smart HDR 4 are now available because the A15 Bionic chip is in the phone. These features were only available on the top-of-the-line iPhones. You don’t get all of the new features on the iPhone 13, like Cinematic Mode.

Recent reports also said that the new iPhone has more RAM and longer battery life.

However, the basic features of the iPhone SE (2022) are almost the same as the iPhone SE now (2020). Among these are:

  • The same Retina HD screen.
  •  Same rear and front cameras.
  • The same IP67-certified build.

Regarding prices, the iPhone SE (2022) is about the same as other phones that Apple doesn’t make. These phones are the OnePlus 9RT, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, the Vivo V23 Pro 5G, and the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G.

These Android phones have better specs than the iPhones, at least on paper. Some Android phones cost less than Rs. 20,000 that have better internals, at least for the most part, than phones that cost more.

Isn’t it better to go with something else, even if it’s an iPhone? Depending on what you want, you might want to buy the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 11, or even the iPhone XR instead of the iPhone SE (2022), which has been marked down.
