Asus ROG Phone 6 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 launches July 5

The Asus ROG Phone 6 will be available on July 5

The ROG Phone 6, as well as gaming headphones and other peripherals, will be unveiled on July 5 at 8 p.m. Taipei time, according to an Asus tweet. 

This implies it will be shown live in India at 5:30 p.m. The virtual event will be broadcast live on Asus’s website and social media outlets. You can see the tweet that was attached below.

The phone will also be the “first gaming smartphone” to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, according to Asus. Realme, Motorola, and others stated that their Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phones would be released shortly. The new Snapdragon mobile platform boasts a 10% increase in CPU speed and a 30% increase in battery efficiency.

Apart from the launch date, Asus hasn’t divulged much about the impending device’s specifications and features. It might have a better cooling system, more modern RAM and storage capabilities, a better GPU, etc. The ROG Phone 6 might be a big update with the latest Snapdragon chipset.

We spotted the likely design of the ROG Phone 6 earlier this year, even though Asus did not share any picture of the new smartphone in its teaser.
