L’Oreal has been trying to add new technology to its beauty products.
It is making new devices that let you change the colors of your cosmetics to match your look.
At CES 2020, the company showed off a device called “Perso” that enables you to make a customized serum for your skin based on your needs.
And last year, L’Oreal showed off a similar machine that made Yves Saint Laurent lipsticks for its high-end brand.

YSL Rouge Sur Mesure Can Make Lipsticks in Different Colors.
The YSL Rouge Sur Mesure has a tall cylindrical body and a detachable color palette at the top.
It has an all-black design with gold accents, and it looks very high-end. That’s not to say that the Rouge Sur Mesure isn’t high-end or impressive.
What’s more impressive is the technology that makes it possible for people to make their colors to match their looks.
Bluetooth allows the device to work with a companion app that lets users upload pictures of themselves and their clothes.
This lets them see how their clothes fit. It then uses AI to determine how the person looks and make a lipstick shade that matches it.
Use the “Shade Wheel” feature to choose a lipstick color manually. You can also use the “Color Picker” feature to select a shade that matches the color of your dress or handbag.
Then, you can try out different shades with AR filters to see how they look with your clothes and looks before you “print” them.
The YSL Rouge Sur Mesure uses three lipstick cartridges inserted through its back to “print” your unique lipstick shade as soon as you pick the color you want.
These three-cartridge sets come in a different color palette: red, pink, nude, and orange.
Each group can make up to 1,000 different shades. It costs $89 (about Rs. 6,814) for each set of cartridges to buy on their own.
The device will put the finished product, which is the custom shade, in the detachable palette at the top for one-time use to be used again.
You can also make your lipstick shade, remove the top palette, and put it in your purse for quick touch-ups and contouring.
Also, you can save your shades in the companion app for later use.

It costs $299 (Rs 22,899) and can be bought on YSL’s website right now. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come to India.
